About EcoFluxNet
At EcoFluxNet, we are dedicated to revolutionizing agriculture through cutting-edge technology.
Our mission is to empower farmers to adopt regenerative practices that not only enhance productivity but also contribute to a sustainable future.

EcoFluxNet’s spectroscopic platform solves the need for reliable monitoring, improving precision by ~1000x
EcoFluxNet’s revolutionary N2O and CH4 sensor system monitors GHGs with critical strengths:
Precise
Part-per-billion resolution, ~1000x status quo
Cost-effective
$/acre vs. $100s/acre status quo
Easy to implement, operate, and interpret
Real-time, tomographic monitoring
System and method overview:
The world’s only open-path sensor for nitrous oxide and methane
The deployed system creates a laser “net” over hundreds of acres
Outputs tomographic map identifying “hot spots” and “hot moments”
Only possible due to industry-leading features: real-time monitoring, high resolution, and vast spatial coverage
Automatically adjusts measurement configurations based on meteorological conditions
Capacity for form factor modulation, including aerial drones and center pivot irrigation mounting
Suite of sensor systems for interchangeable gas analysis
N2O, CH4, NH3, CO2, and others

The NitroNet sensor platform enables precise monitoring of regenerative agricultural practices
NitroNet Sensors
Net agricultural emissions represent 10% of all US GHG emissions (July 12, 2023 GHG Monitoring and Measurement Interagency Working Group). In order to manage these emissions, growers need an easy to use, low-cost mechanism to relate agricultural practice changes to changes in GHG emissions. Equipment for direct measures (Chambers, Eddy CoVariance Towers) and bio-geochemical models are available but are expensive to buy and/or use and also complex to operate or understand.
The NitroNet suite of sensors, engineered by EcoFluxNet, enable precise monitoring of regenerative ag practices aimed at reducing emissions and the generation of premium value carbon credits based on the NitroNet platform. This provides low-cost monitoring and validation of carbon credits, creating significant on-farm revenue. By democratizing access to affordable and autonomous sensing technology, farmers and other agricultural stakeholders can effectively monitor and manage GHG emissions, leading to more sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices.
Placing this technology in the hands of producers will allow them to associate specific practices with lowering their GHG emissions, thus can support a significant impact on GHG mitigation efforts and long-term sustainability.
The NitroNet suite of sensors support the development and expansion of carbon markets, providing opportunities for businesses to participate in emissions reduction initiatives without the specter of “greenwashing” accusations undermining efforts while influencing regulatory policies. These long-term impacts have positive economic, environmental, and social implications by promoting sustainability, reducing GHG emissions, and job creation in the agricultural and energy sectors.
